  1. umm, if you want i can setup one at nwrecords.com, such as address.nwrecords.com or we could my old routeit.noisepages.com blog.

although i'd prefer to setup a new one then.
but yeah, got an ftp at nwrecords.com if needed, we could just install joomla or wordpress or whatever.

  3. Whatever it is it needs to be not this Tron-meets-Architecture blueprint design. I say the simpler, the better. I, for one, hope to avoid the "Chick in Bikinis with Headphones On" or "Tripped Out Light Show" style of layout that would make the site look like a fan-made Tiesto youtube video.

    Name suggestion time:
    The Hive Mind
    Electric Feel
A Bunch of Morons Talk About Electronic Music At Length

Formatting rules for posts? Proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, paragraph formatting, etc. should count for ease of reading by our soon-to-be slaves. Inter-blog communicae doesn't count, obviously.

I assume this is going to be a very free-form type of thing, sort of stream-of-consciousness where we flex our literary chops and whatnot.

For what it's worth, I live in Seoul and I've got most of the Asian side of the electronic music scene tapped, so I'll probably be talking about lots of random stuff from Deep House DJs here in Seoul to my belovedly disgusting Yasutaka Nakata fanboyism. Be prepared for that. Then again, legitimacy isn't something I get off on anyways, but anyone who runs a blog with delusions of grandeur is a madman.

Music reviews are probably a good idea, as is exposing new talent or songs that have our ears during any given week. Since there's 7 people right now, maybe we should all divvy up the week and have one post per person, per day?

  4. Also, my musical tastes (besides Asian electronic) is French House. I think it's best if we all know what area we're going to be covering.

  5. P.P.S. Sorry for the fucking wall of text bigger than Roger Waters' The Wall Live in Fucking Concert

  6. GBSR: Host that shit!

I like The Hive Mind, personally. I know we're all working from different time zones, but this is going to be good. I think we will all probably end up covering different territory just by default, why limit post counts?

  7. Not really limiting, more like some kind of deadline so that there's always new content every day. I would imagine extra posts wouldn't be looked down upon by the day's deadlined poster.

  9. What happened to layout O.o
    What are the birds for?

If we come up with a name, I can do a nice logo. Or if it is typewriter jargon (ok by me, although not directly sound related..), I have ideas already, just don't know how to describe them.

  10. I like The Hive Mind :)

Should the layout be more colourful trippy or dark and awkward?

  11. Sorry for spam, but maybe we create a mailing list between all the admins?

  12. well, i added xNOISEx as an administrator, so that should speed things up.

for what it's worth: i like the hive mind or the hive as well :)

  13. "A Bunch of Morons Talk About Electronic Music At Length" seems like a pretty accurate title, but "The Hive Mind" would probably work best if most of you intend to be at least somewhat serious.
